About this Collection
Canopies for the Ford Ranger Next Gen (2022+): Xpedition and Xtreme for the dual cab, and Xpedition for the Super Cab.
Xpedition or Xtreme?
-
Xpedition: solid aluminium gullwing side doors. Nothing on show and no side glass to break, which suits tools and valuables.
-
Xtreme: gullwing side doors with 250mm sliding glass windows, for airflow and a factory look with glass all round.
Xpedition and Xtreme canopies are rated to 250kg dynamic and 500kg static on the roof, enough for a rooftop tent, a roof rack and the gear that goes with them. A Rhinoman canopy has been destruction-tested to over 7.6 tonnes of static load: watch the destruction test. As with any roof-mounted gear, add up the canopy, rack and load, and check it's within your vehicle's payload.
Fitting notes
-
J-brace: Rangers built from 2024 have Ford's J-brace fitted at the factory. On 2022–23 Next Gen Rangers, Ford recommends its J-brace kit for canopies over 45kg, and these canopies are compatible with it.
-
Grades: suits the XLT and Raptor. On the Wildtrak, the tub cover must be removed and Ford's XL tub side inserts fitted first. Your installer can do this, or you can do it yourself.
- The Ranger Super Duty has its own canopy: see the Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies.
