Who we are
Founded by Dean Gurney, CapRax has its roots in manufacturing, from canvas to aluminium to electrical. Today CapRax sells and supports ute canopies across Australia, with stock, a showroom and fitting advice on the Sunshine Coast.
CapRax by Rhinoman canopies
- Xpedition: solid aluminium gullwing side doors and a bonded glass rear door.
- Xtreme: gullwing side doors with sliding glass windows, for clear views all round.
- LX: a squarer frame with rubber-mounted glass, rated to 150kg on the roof.
Xpedition and Xtreme roofs are rated to 250kg dynamic and 500kg static, and a Rhinoman canopy has been destruction-tested to over 7.6 tonnes of static load: watch the destruction test. Each one is made for a specific vehicle, and most mount to factory points with no drilling.
Built to be fitted out
Add a roof rack or load bars on top, and shelves, a storage rack with slides and lock boxes, a drop-down table and MOLLE panels inside. They're made to fit the channels and mounting points built into CapRax by Rhinoman canopies. See the accessories.
