VW Amarok 2023+ Canopies

Canopies for the VW Amarok dual cab (2023+), in Xpedition and Xtreme.

Xpedition or Xtreme?

• Xpedition: solid aluminium gullwing side doors. Nothing on show and no side glass to break, which suits tools and valuables.
• Xtreme: gullwing side doors with 250mm sliding glass windows, for airflow and a factory look with glass all round.

Xpedition and Xtreme canopies are rated to 250kg dynamic and 500kg static on the roof, enough for a rooftop tent, a roof rack and the gear that goes with them. A Rhinoman canopy has been destruction-tested to over 7.6 tonnes of static load: watch the destruction test. As with any roof-mounted gear, add up the canopy, rack and load, and check it's within your vehicle's payload.

Fitting notes

• J-brace: Amaroks built from 2024 have the J-brace fitted at the factory. On 2023 builds, VW's J-brace kit may be needed before fitting; we'll confirm when you enquire.
