The Pioneer Box Low Lid is the lower-profile Pioneer Box, with about 30 litres inside. It's a tough, simple box for a canopy, tray or ute tub. For more height, see the Pioneer Box Hi-Lid.
Pioneer Boxes are made for The Bush Company, which shares our showroom in Marcoola, and carry The Bush Company logo. We stock them because they're the boxes the CapRax Canopy Storage Rack and Pull-Out Slides are sized for.
In a CapRax canopy
- The Canopy Storage Rack takes three boxes across its loading area.
- The 60% Pull-Out Slide carries two boxes and the 40% slide carries one, so you can pull them out to the tailgate.
- The Low Lid stands 235mm tall; the Hi-Lid is 290mm.
Built strong
- Reinforced polyethylene with double-skinned corners.
- Static load tested to 1 tonne.
- Four clip-lock latches keep the lid shut on rough tracks.
Stacks and ties down
- The grooved lid and base interlock when stacked, so boxes don't shift sideways.
- Integrated tie-down points for roof racks, trays and canopies.
Weather resistant, not sealed
The overlapping lid keeps out dust and rain, and drainage holes in the base stop water pooling. With no rubber seals, there's nothing to perish, and damp gear can breathe instead of sweating inside.

Most accessories bolt into the channels and mounting points built into the canopy, with no cutting or drilling. Shelves and face plates come flat-packed and need a rivet gun to assemble.
